Brand New
Only products listed by authorised dealers which are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, or if you have handmade the item yourself and offer a similar warranty.
Mint
Mint refers to being used, but still in the condition as it was when it was purchased. Mint items should also include all items that were supplied from the shop as part of the package, such as
cases, covers, tools or ‘case candy’. If there’s any sort of imperfection, you cannot list as mint.
Excellent
Still close to new, but has been used and has very small signs of this use. Modern equipment would be almost blemish free whereas vintage items may show some marks but will be amongst the best condition available when compared to others of a similar age and type.
Very Good
Items which cannot qualify as Excellent but are still in good condition overall and everything works.
Good
These will be in good working order but have a visual imperfections.
Poor
Some functional problems and will often require a degree of repair.
Non-functioning
These instruments do not work.
